Nigel Shafran (b1964) is as well known for his art practice as for being one of the UK’s most respected fashion photographers. He started his career in the late 80s working for The Face and I-d magazine. His work has been widely exhibited and included in shows at The Photographers’ Gallery, Tate, the V&A, Fig-1, MW Projects et al. His publications include Ruthbook 1995, edited photographs 1992-2004 2004 (Photoworks/Steidl), Teenage Precinct Shoppers 2013 (Dashwood Books), Visitor Figures 2015 and Dark Rooms (Mack Books) 2016.
