Annis Joslin is an artist and filmmaker with a background in performance graduating from Dartington College Arts in the early 90’s, then shifting into film and video and completing an MA at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2000, followed by a year-long studio fellowship. People are at the heart of all her work, with many projects documentary based and central to her approach is creating encounters and making connections with communities through conversation and creative interventions. She has always maintained a dual commitment to her educational/participatory arts practice and creative output with projects and commissions from The Royal College of Physicians, The British Museum, Sussex Partnerships NHS Trust, The Women’s Library, London, The National Trust, Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth, Project Art Works, Lighthouse and Royal Pavilion and Museums, Brighton.
